What you like most about AFF:
Ha where do I start...
Her music is the most beautiful I've ever heard. Listening to it always makes me feel good, wherever I am. It's so tender and heartfelt. I admire Ali for putting so much of herself into her music, that makes it so special.
And I love Ali as a person, I admire her morals and her accomplishments and her outlook on life. She genuinely makes me want to be a better person and not be afraid to be who I am. She gives me hope there is still good in this world, and that everything will turn out OK. And that is the most valuable thing to have.

Favorite song by A fine frenzy and how it affects you:

That would have to be Come on Come Out. After I heard Almost Lover on tv a few times I had picked up her album, and on a chilly spring morning in February I started playing it, and those first few seconds of Come On Come Out just made me feel so great. The sun broke through the clouds, and for a few minutes it felt as if it was summer already. It was indescribeable. That song sealed the deal for me. To this day I can not look up at the sky without hearing it.

Two, both in my home country of Holland within the space of a month. Met Ali both times. :D

Gaphic Novel:
Being an artist myself, I like to tell stories and evoke feelings through comics as Alison does via music. Inspiration is a valuable commodity, and listening to AFF has given me spades.
Right around when I discovered AFF I got an offer from a publisher to write a short graphic novel for an anthology of autobiographical stories about the influence that music has on people's lives. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to express my love for AFF.
So I've been putting together this little story over the last few months. Below you can see a panel from the second page.

I hope to present Ali with the first copy once it's finished. :)
